Henry
Crane Service... of Thomaston was hired to pluck the truck from
its watery grave in Rockland's Transfer Station.

Over the edge... go diver Charlie Weidman and, Jack Madore of Henry Crane Service

Little bit lower Charlie Weidman and Jack Madore take the long ride
down to the truck to hook up the cable.

Diver down. Diver Charlie Weidman prepares to enter the garbage-strewn
water at the Rockland Transfer Station.

Hooking up. Jack Madore hands a hook to diver Charlie Weidman.

Climbing out. Charlie Weidman climbs out of the water and back into
the cage after securing a cable to the truck's frame.

Connecting the truck... to the hook is the next step in preparing to raise it out of the water

Cage going up. After connecting the pickup to a cable, the basket
is brought back up to Old County Road

Beginning to surface. What was once just a sliver of white metal
begins to appear more like the bed of a pickup.

Now it looks like a truck!

A sad sight indeed.

The passenger side received the brunt of the impact into the cement
wall and guardrail before the truck flipped over the edge and down nearly 80
feet to the water.
